Position Overview
As Senior IT System Administrator, you will support 80+ employees via ticketing system, Slack, Rippling, and Google Workspace, supporting end-users of the in-house built platform, and collaborating with a small office team. You'll implement new systems and technologies, maintain company software and hardware, and support office relocation.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish structure and process by improving and maintaining ticketing systems while measuring response times
- Oversee and manage SaaS services, VPN services, end-user technical support, endpoint security operations, vendor management, access control, and IT inventory
- Lead hardware and software support, deployments, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with People Operations on user onboarding, offboarding, and management
- Image equipment and provision new hires through Rippling
- Support, improve, and manage office networks and Google Workspaces
- Maintain healthy network operations through Ubiquiti monitoring
- Collaborate with internal development teams to support investors using in-house applications
- Respond quickly to employee technical issues to boost productivity
- Setup and manage office VPN
- Apply security best practices
- Establish best practices to increase delivery speed, transparency, and quality
- Standardize and operationalize the environment
- Maintain Google Meet and AV equipment in conference rooms
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent expertise with proven ability to lead and direct a technology team
- ITIL certification desired
- Minimum 5 years IT management experience with 80+ employee organizations
- Hands-on experience designing and managing office networks and multidomain Google Workspaces
- Ability to plan and execute migrations with minimal productivity impact
- Capacity to collaborate and support employees in office settings
- Passion for security and raising security standards
- Understanding of network fundamentals
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven history meeting deadlines while managing multiple parallel projects

Compensation
$110,000 – $150,000. Must work onsite in NYC office. Must be eligible to work in the US.
