Position Overview
We're looking for a Product Manager (Junior to Mid-Level) to help us build, launch, and optimize features across both our mobile app and web platform. This role is perfect for someone with up to 4 years of experience in product, who is hungry to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-moving startup.
We're less concerned with direct experience in fintech or investing, and more interested in your drive, curiosity, and willingness to do the work. You'll collaborate closely with our engineering team and be hands-on throughout the product lifecycle — from idea to release.
What You'll Do
- Prioritize and define user-focused features for our web and app products
- Write clear, thoughtful product requirements and collaborate daily with engineers
- Lead sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives for your workstream
- QA and test all new features before release
- Learn from user behavior, data, and internal feedback to iterate quickly
- Work closely with stakeholders across design, engineering, and business teams
What We're Looking For
- 1–4 years of experience in a product or technical role (product management, product ops, business analysis, etc.)
- Strong bias toward action — you're not afraid to jump in and figure things out
- Curious mindset and willingness to learn rapidly
- Experience (or strong interest) working directly with software engineers
- Bonus: Exposure to mobile or web apps
Measurements of Success (first 2 months)
- Deeply understand our platform by shadowing teams and documenting core use cases
- Take ownership of 2–3 small-to-medium features: plan, write specs, manage development, and launch
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across the company
- Own and ship a high-priority feature with full support from the product team
Additional Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no exceptions)
- This is a full-time, in-office role based in NYC
Benefits at Masterworks
- Daily catered lunches
- Health, dental, and vision coverage (with FSA options)
- 401k and generous PTO
- Free museum access + art-related perks
- Discounted Equinox membership
- Social events, happy hours, and clubs
Compensation
The compensation range for the role is inclusive only of base salary, and exclusive of other potential competitive benefits such as on-target commission, bonus payments, and equity. Our ranges are very broad to accommodate all types of candidates and encourage growth. Specific compensation offered to a candidate may be dependent on factors such as education, experience, qualifications, and alignment with market data. Exceptional candidates may receive salaries outside of the posted ranges.
